Professional Sprinkler System Installation in Noroton Heights, CT

Why Custom-Designed Irrigation Systems Outperform Generic Installations

A properly designed and installed irrigation system is one of the most effective tools available for maintaining a healthy lawn and landscape in Noroton Heights, CT while actually reducing water consumption compared to manual watering. The key word is properly designed. Generic irrigation installations that place heads at even intervals without regard for plant water needs, soil type, slope, sun exposure, and wind patterns consistently result in over-watered wet spots adjacent to drought-stressed dry areas. Kelly Landscaping's irrigation design process begins with a detailed site assessment that maps every relevant factor before a single zone is drawn on paper.

Our irrigation designers in Noroton Heights, CT create zone layouts that separate turf areas from planting beds, sunny areas from shaded zones, and slope areas from flat surfaces so that each zone can be programmed independently to deliver the water volume its specific conditions require. We select head types appropriate to each zone's application rate requirements, using high-efficiency rotary heads for large turf areas, fixed spray heads for smaller or irregularly shaped zones, and drip emitters for planting beds and container areas where water should go directly to root zones rather than foliage. This precision reduces both water waste and plant stress.

Every sprinkler system Kelly Landscaping installs in Noroton Heights, CT includes a smart irrigation controller that integrates with local weather data to automatically suspend or reduce watering schedules during and after rainfall events. These controllers communicate with ET-based weather stations to calculate evapotranspiration rates and adjust irrigation runtime accordingly across all zones. The water savings from smart controller integration typically pay for the upgrade cost within one to two seasons depending on local water rates and the system's original runtime schedule. We program every controller we install and provide hands-on client training before completing the project.
